The owner, Wijesundara, was exceptionally helpful, assisting with tuk-tuk bookings and sharing insider tips for exploring the beautiful surroundings. The rooftop garden was a highlight, where we savored delicious breakfasts while soaking in the breathtaking vistas of Ella Rock and the nearby waterfall. Our family room, though not what was originally pictured, turned out to be a cozy space that met our needs. In a delightful twist, we received a complimentary upgrade to a mountain view room for our first night, which perfectly set the tone for our extended two-week stay that made us feel right at home. With clean and stylish accommodations paired with free WiFi and an on-site restaurant, Lucky Star Ella is a hidden gem-an ideal choice for travelers looking to balance budget-friendly rates with exceptional service and stunning natural beauty.
